She was predeceased by: her former husband Tony Burns; her husband Ronald Koch; her parents, Luther Cockerham and Ethel Cockerham; and her siblings, Morris, Melva, Annav, Burl, Betty, Shirley and Rita.
She is survived by: her daughter Sheryl Burns (late Rodger Washington); her grandson Justin Washington-Burns (Katlyn Mathers); her great grandchildren, Kayla (Alejandro Soto), Marcellus Burns (Paris Tankersley), Jenna Rose Burns (Josh Williams), Jaliyah Burns, Jia'Vanna Burns, Ja'Niyah Burns and Julian Washington-Burns; and her great great grandchildren, Skylar and Jorgia Rose.
