He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard Braekevelt and Marguerite Braekevelt (Nuytten); his son Timothy Braekevelt; and his brother Donald. He is survived by: his wife Dolores Petrille; his children, Richard Braekevelt (Kyle), Kevin Braekevelt and Laurie Rosinski (Jeffery); his grandchildren, Michelle (Richard), Nicholas (Katrina), Lisa (Daniel), Lyndsey, Amelia, Anthony (Andrea) and Tyler; and his great grandchildren, Rigel, Sloane, Wailyn, Hudson, Isaac, James, Florence and Grant.
