He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Payne and Wilhelmina Best Payne. He is survived by: his wife Kathleen A. Darling; his daughters, Mary Katherine Judson (Lewis Henderson) and Holly Elizabeth Quandt (Achim); his grandchildren, Zachary, Benjamin, Clara and Daniel; his brother Charles Payne; and his grandchildren, Savannah, Dale, Kyle and James.
