He is survived by: his wife Marissa; his children, Liam and Layla; his mother Nancy Schmid; his parents-in-law, Paul and Janet Wintermantle; his brother Adam Schmid (Janell); his siblings-in-law, Joel Wintermantle (Jessie), Alicia Forest (Jason) and Emily Stetson (Steve); his sibling's children, Nora, Mia and Clinton; his aunt Linda Ecklund; his cousin Karl Eckland (Rachel); his uncle Jim; his aunt Jeanette; and his cousin Matthew (Kate).
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations would be appreciated to the family for funeral expenses and for Liam and Layla's education.
