He was predeceased by: his wife Mary Jane; his parents, Joseph Hakim and Emily Hakim; and his siblings, Maroun (Lidwina) and Emma Bochenek (Paul).
He is survived by: his siblings, Roy (Tammy), Mary "Tootsie" Brazier (Allan) and Joann Carpenter (Michael); and his sons, Joseph, Matthew of Anthony, Sam Jr. (Michelle) and Christopher (Teresa). He is also survived by nine grandchildren and 18 nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Sharbel Maronite Church.
