He was predeceased by: his parents, Leon A. Castro and Nina E. Castro (Free); his brother Steven G. Castro; and his sister-in-law Nancy K. Castro. He is survived by: his wife Pam of Mt. Clemens; his children, Thomas Leon Castro of Michigan, Timothy Lee Castro (Krystle) of Maryland and Traci Lynn Putt (Robert) of Nebraska; his siblings, Lundy J. Castro of Michigan, Daniel R. Castro (Karen) of Nebraska and Patricia Ann Deisler (Richard) of Nebraska; his grandchildren, Jacquelyn Wager (Rick), Kylee Castro, Gavin Castro, Aidan Castro, Emma Castro, Henry Putt, Isaac Putt, Miriam Putt, Bernadette Putt and Azelia Putt; and his great grandchild Cassius Wager.
A memorial has been established to the Veterans Administration and Alzheimer's Association with the funeral home in charge.
