She was predeceased by : her parents, Harry Shadley and Irene Shadley (Role); her husband Earnest Barker; her grandson Michael Gene Hamilton; her great grandchild Jeremiah Shaffer; her brothers, David and Richard Shadley; and her son-in-law James Hamilton.

She is survived by : her daughter Cindy May Hamilton of Albion, MI; her siblings, Jerry Shadley (Carole) of Clinton, MI, Mitzi Schuler of Clinton, MI, Linda Shook of Milan, MI, Gary Shadley (Bonnie) of Clinton, MI, Debbie Jacobs of Clinton, Diane Kenyon (Ken) of Tecumseh, MI and Pat Carpenter of Saline, MI; and her grandchildren, Amy Shaffer (Jason) of Belleview, MI and Dwayne Hamilton (Courtney) of Venice, FL. She is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
