We bid farewell to Carolyn Joy Powers of Clinton, Michigan, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on October 15, 2025 at the age of 84. Carolyn touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Rexford Raymond and Alma Lou Ritchie (Shockey); her son Raymond Ledford Powers; and her brothers, Raymond Paul Ritchie and William Raymond Ritchie.

She is survived by: her husband Scott Powers; her children, Scott Powers (Beth) of Saline, MI and Heather Schaare (Bill) of Clinton, MI; her grandchildren, Nathan, Dylan Powers, Amanda Schaare and Toby Fleenor; her great grandchildren, Weston Fleenor, Andreas Gunther, Dallas Fleenor and Braylen Fleenor; and her sister Judith Ritchie Hudson of Berea, KY..

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Balis W. and Abigail Ritchie Family Trust.
