He was predeceased by: his parents, Sam Whitt and Belva Whitt (Haney); his siblings, Lewis, Mary and June; and his grandson DJ.
He is survived by: his wife Amanda Whitt (Hutchinson); his sons, Darrell (Sandy) and Scott; and his siblings, Faye and Sam. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren, and 3 great-grandchildren.
