He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Raymond Betzoldt and Carrie Betzoldt (Bird); his wife Linda Randolph; his children, Mark Betzoldt and Shawn Stevens (Todd) of Denton; his grandchildren, Derrick Miracle, Cory, Cassidee, Catrina Stevens and Nicole Randolph; his great grandchild Liliana Shoemaker; and his stepchildren, Dave Randolph and Suzanne German.
