He was predeceased by : his parents, David and Sonia; his sister Anne; and his daughter Katie. He is survived by : his brothers, Tom (Tammy) and John (Janet); his children, Marlena, Ben, Lila and Lauren; his stepchildren, Mark Baylis and Marie; his children, Wyatt (Dillian) and Kelly Tongel (Michael); his son-in-law Matt Dorr; his sister-in-law Barbara Frye of Tecumseh; and his wife Pam.

A celebration of life was held on Tuesday, April 23rd 2024 at the Clinton High School (341 E Michigan Ave, Clinton, MI 49236).

Requests in lieu of flowers, donations be made in his name to award a scholarship to a Clinton student each year. Checks can be made to the Lenawee Community Foundation and in the memo line put " In Memory of David Pray".
