He was predeceased by: his daughter Amie Nicole Counts; his father Charles; and his brothers, Gary Ray and William "Bubba" Counts. He is survived by: his mother Nellie Elizabeth Counts (Nodine); his sister Kaye Counts; his sibling's children, Talena Counts, Tara Cregar, Eric Counts Sr. (Danyelle) and Brandon Cregar; his great-nephew Eric Counts Jr.; his sister-in-law Sandra Counts; his granddaughter Nikki Conner; his close friends, Apryl Davis and Jason Umphrey; his aunt Clemmie Rhodes; and his pets, Stella Rae and Myrtle.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, October 13th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Sunset Hills Cemetery (4413 Flushing Rd, Flint, MI 48504).
