He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Schuster and Vivian Schuster (Wilhelm); his sisters, Eileen Holland, Elizabeth Kondel and Elaine Prime; and his brother-in-law Marvin Prime.

He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth A. Burkhardt; his daughter Nicole Moore (David); his grandchildren, Ashlee Angline (Danny) and Ryan Moore; his siblings, Joseph Schuster (Gail), Marie Racette and Louise Macko (Paul); and his godson Brian Aziz. He is also survived by Several nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews and great-great nieces and nephews.
