He is survived by: his wife Galynn Meek; his daughters, Kimberly Ward (Patrick) and Tina Simmonds (Thad); his grandchildren, Shaddon Simmonds (Mia), Jori Simmonds, Clarissa Simmonds, Neena Tafel (Jordan), Noelle Ward and Norinne Ward; his great grandchildren, Harlow Simmonds, Sutton Simmonds, Olsen Tafel, Kiley Hazlewood and Jackson Hazlewood; and his siblings, Diane Thompson (Terry) and Dino Meek (Brenda).

A celebration of life was held on Tuesday, May 27th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the O'Guinn Family Funeral Homes - Clio Chapel (503 N Mill St, Clio, MI 48420).
