He was predeceased by: his father Archie Bishop; and his siblings, Paul, Dean and Alice. He is survived by: his wife Shirley Bishop; his children, Donald Bishop Jr., Alexander Panos (Marilyn), Gary Bishop (Doreen), Sophia Starr, Vincent Bishop and Dana Burtrum (Jason); his grandchildren, Anthony Freeman, Brittani Bishop, Christopher Valdez, Adrienne Burtrum and John-Michael Burtrum; and his great grandchildren, David Valdez, Abigail Arissa, Ozias Valdez and Loxley Burtrum. He is also survived by several niece and nephews.
Memorial contributions can be made to the Wounded Warriors Project or the Clio VFW Honor Guard.
