She was predeceased by : her husband Joseph "Joe" Boughner; her parents, Floyd Curtis and Elizabeth Effie Smith (Aston); her great grandchild Lyra; her children-in-law, Frederick D. Hoard and Laura Ann Boughner (DeHart); and her siblings, Floyd Junior (Dorothy), Donald O. (Marjorie) and Joyce Marie (James Kollman Sr.).

She is survived by : her children, Shirley Joyce Hoard (Boughner), Joseph Junior Boughner (Cheri), Ronald Lee Boughner, Terry Jay Boughner and Dale Alan Boughner. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; Many nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Sunday, April 28th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM and on Monday, April 29th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the O'Guinn Family Funeral Homes - Clio Chapel (503 N Mill St, Clio, MI 48420). A funeral service was held on Monday, April 29th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
