We bid farewell to Ellouise M. Smith of Clio, Michigan, born in Lansing, Michigan, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on May 16, 2024 at the age of 97. Ellouise touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by : her parents, Ikeie Smith and Nellie Smith (McMichael); her husbands, Milo Palmer and Arlie Smith; her son-in-law Dennis Knowlton; and her siblings, Dorothy Fogle (Lawrence), George Smith, Brennan Smith (Luella) and L. D. Smith (Mary Louise) of Barbara Coggins, J. D.
She is survived by : her children, Lyle Palmer (Carolyn), Doris Palmer-Knowlton, Norman Palmer (Judy) and Lois Huntley (Bill); her grandchildren, Monique Coulman (Adam), Denise Knowlton-Bartell (Deb), Christopher Palmer (Kristin), Tonya Havener (Dan), Timothy Knowlton (Sharri), David Knowlton (Kelly), Lisa Fournier and Lori Vondeling; her great grandchildren, Grady Bartell, Courtney Havener, Nicholas Havener, Kasey Palmer, Caden Palmer, Katelynn Ellouise Palmer, Kim Fournier, Jr., Samantha Ingram, Drew Vondeling, Stephanie Moody and Ryan Moody; her great great grandchildren, Raeghan Ingram, Marleigh Ingram, Dawson Vondeling and Kellen Moody; and her sisters-in-law, Sharon Smith and Karen Smith. She is also survived by Many nieces, nephews, extended family, and wonderful friends.
