Garret will be remembered for the time spent with loved ones and the moments that brought joy to those around him. He was predeceased by: his brother Tylor Mochty; and his grandparents, Ron and Marsha Prevo. He is survived by: his parents, Larry Mochty and Rebecca Mochty (Prevo); his wife Kelly Mochty; his sons, Hunter and Kolton Mochty; his father-in-law Joel Montague; and his niece Winter. He is also survived by 6 nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and many wonderful friends.
A celebration of life was held on Wednesday, August 26th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at 14164 N Clio Rd, Clio, MI 48420.
In lieu of flowers, those desiring may make memorial contributions to the family for future designation.
