Howard will be remembered for the time spent with loved ones and the moments that brought joy to those around him. He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Clontz and Esther Clontz (Simmons); his wife Opal Trinks; and his siblings, Iris "Marie" Melton and Fred Clontz.

He is survived by: his daughter Linda Pillow; his granddaughter Amy Stratman (Kris); and his siblings, Jeanette Beach (James), Vernon Clontz (Barbara), Shirley Kutyana and David Clontz. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family, and wonderful friends.

In lieu of flowers, those desiring may make memorial contributions to the Alzheimer's Association.
