It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Janice Arlene Brookins of Clio, Michigan, born in Decatur, Illinois, who passed away on January 4, 2023, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Hoyt Dodd and Mildred Dodd (Mason); her husband Richard Brookins; and her son Rick Brookins. She is survived by: her children, Susan Amy (Larry), Glenn Brookins (Gail) and Rod Brookins (Pam); her grandchildren, Scott Amy (Maria Bauer), Angie Brookins, Steven Amy (Suzie), Jeremy Amy (Kristy), Renee Maly (Josh), Nicholas Brookins (Kelly Wheeler), Rebecca Brookins, Ricky Brookins, Daniel Silvernale, Derek Brookins and Kristi Brookins; and her great grandchildren, Drew Amy (Becca), Chloe Strange (Michael), Makenzie Hatton (Shane), Nate Amy (Brittney), Bray Amy, Blake Amy, Blaine Mileham, Cordelia Mileham, Riley Bauer, Kaya Brookins, Madison Amy, Nicholas, Megan, Zoe, Desiree Lee, Loren Lee, Sophi Silvernale and Abigail Wilson.
