We are sad to announce that on December 6, 2023, at the age of 96, Joseph W. Magyar of Clio, Michigan, born in Flint, Michigan passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Frank Magyar and Theresa Magyar (Irk); his great grandchild Hannah Smith; and his siblings, Frank, John, Jim and Helen Baksa.

He is survived by : his wife Virginia Magyar; his daughters, Lynda Uren (DeWayne) of Ringgold, GA, Marcia Smith (Paul) of West Bloomfield, MI, Brenda Smith (Bob) of Burton, MI and Pamela Hillock of Otisville, MI; his son-in-law John Hillock II of Millington, MI; his grandchildren, Jodi Keim (Ben), Cory Uren (Kim), Michelle Murray (Brandon), Jeremy Gray (Natasha), Robert Smith (Chris), Amanda McMurrian (Dwayne), Colby Cain (Bryan), Haylee Beardslee (Shawn) and Stacy Hillock; and his great grandchildren, Autumn, Evan, Ella, Jacob, Makenna, Ryland, Kellan, Magnus, Calum, Isabella and Connor. He is also survived by other loving family members and good friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Davison United Methodist Church or the Batesville Memorial Tree Program, in Joseph's memory.
