She was predeceased by: her parents, Lloyd McKnight and Althea McKnight (Ramage); her husband Charles Hendon; her daughter Dawn Hendon; her grandchild Devyn; her great grandchildren, Daren, Damian, Dorian, Emersyn and Kinslee; and her siblings, Randy McKnight and Cheryl McKnight.
She is survived by: her children, Laura Byerly (Mark), Rex Burpee (Kelli), Janeen Bartholomew (Rob), James Burpee, Daphne Smith (John), Rebekah Beers (Richard), Courtney Kroninger (Tim), Danny Hendon, Darren Hendon, Dean Hendon and Dion Hendon; and her sister Shary Card (Roger). She is also survived by 23 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, extended family, and wonderful friends.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 16th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the O'Guinn Family Funeral Homes - Clio Chapel (503 N Mill St, Clio, MI 48420). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, September 16th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, those who desire may make memorial contributions to the Alzheimer's Association.
