It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kay M. Smith of Clio, Michigan, who passed away on April 15, 2026, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Delmer Thomas and Margaret Thomas (Oktabec); and her former husband William Smith. She is survived by: her children, Michael Smith, Michelle Smith (Tony Brabbs) and William Smith (Stephanie); her grandchildren, Kathy and Michael Smith; her great grandchildren, William, Michael Jr. and Gwendolyn; her sister Joan Zietz; and her close friend Kitty.
In lieu of flowers, those desiring may make memorial contributions to the family for future designation.
