He was predeceased by: his parents, Lloyd Hetherington and Lila Hetherington (VanArsdale); and his son Tony. He is survived by: his wife Judy White; his son Jim Hetherington; his granddaughters, Kayleigh, Stephanie, Sarah and Allyssa; his siblings, Danny, Pat, Ken and Karen; and his sisters-in-law, JoAnn and Annie.

Memorial contributions, in Lloyd's name, may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
