She was predeceased by: her father Merriel Sloat; her husband Byron Aplin; her sons, David Aplin and Christopher Aplin; and her siblings, Gerald Sloat and Donna Herriman.
She is survived by: her sons, Jeffrey Aplin and Michael Aplin; her grandchildren, Kristalyn Joy Groce (Joshua), Bryan Aplin (Mercedes), Joshua Aplin (Katie), Janna Aplin and Amanda Wilson (Arvelle); and her daughters-in-law, Debbie Aplin and Sarah Aplin.
In lieu of flowers, those desiring may make memorial contributions to the American Cancer Society or St. Jude Children's Hospital.
