Marilyn Hect Obituary
We are sad to announce that on December 12, 2025, at the age of 75, Marilyn Hect of Clio, Michigan passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ralph Boyer and Sophia Boyer (Hale); her grandson Sebastian Hect; and her brother Dean Boyer. She is survived by: her daughters, Renea Kennedy, Becky Barclay (Brian), April Rourke (Wayne) and Amy Whittenburg (Bill); her grandchildren, Alexandria Bacon, James Bowers, Elizabeth Rourke, Hannah Rourke, Nathan Rourke and Austin Whittenburg; her sister Carolyn McNally (Gary); and her close friend Sandy Carey. She is also survived by Several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 20th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Emmanuel Lutheran Church (6380 Beecher Rd, Flint, MI 48532). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, December 20th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Emmanuel Lutheran Church.
