It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Nicholas E. Giem of Clio, Michigan, born in Flint, Michigan, who passed away on April 13, 2023, at the age of 35, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his nephew Isaac Lusk; his uncle David Giem; and his grandparents, Joseph Drinkwine Sr., Gloria Hargarther and Edwin Giem.
He is survived by: his parents, Daniel Giem and JoAnn Giem (Drinkwine); his sister Christina Lusk (Michael); his niece Lucy; his nephew Noah Lusk; his grandmothers, Carolyn Giem and Cheryl Chandler (Don); and his aunts and uncles, Janet Giem, Doug Giem (Julie), Joseph Drinkwine Jr., Michele Jordan (John), Linda Spann and Many. He is also survived by other loving family members and dear friends.
In the light of such tragedy, Nick's family gave the greatest gift of organ donation with Gift of Life – Michigan that has so far saved three other people.
