It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Oleta Fern Smith of Clio, Michigan, born in Flint, Michigan, who passed away on May 17, 2023, at the age of 48, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Allen Smith and Judy Burnnett. She is survived by: her husband David Borgerding; her children, Trevor Gray (Alyssa Schiebel), Olivia Blue and Jessica Gray; her sisters, Katherine Craig and Nancy Petty; and her nieces and nephews, Veronica Hewitt, Holly Londy, Jack Londy and Jesse Munsell.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Whaley Home or Susan B. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation.
