It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Ora Lee Woods of Clio, Michigan, born in Waverly, Tennessee, who passed away on February 16, 2023, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by : her father Cecil Chappell; her husband John Woods; and her siblings, Louise Gilbert, James "Doc" Chappell, Tom "Duggan" Chappell and Rubie Ward.

She is survived by : her daughter Wanda Emmerling Kidder (Carl); her grandchildren, Angela Shapiro (Marcus), Rebekah Brewer (Don) and Jared Emmerling; her great grandchildren, Ethan, Aidan, Audrey, Georgia, Emma and Abigail; her brother Cecil "Dolly" Chappell (Janice); her friend Sandy; and also, Mark Shook (Cathy), Audrey Miller, Anna Mae Boyd, Betty Murphy, Leslie Elrich and Carolyn Liddell.

In lieu of flowers, those desiring may make memorial contributions to the North End Baptist Church – 7360 Clio Rd.

Ora was born May 6, 1932, in Waverly, Tennessee, to the late Cecil and Lettie (Tolley) Chappell.
