He was predeceased by: his parents, Mata Stout-Swick and Sylvester Stout Sr.; and his brothers, Sylvester Stout Jr., William Stout III and Rex Stout.
He is survived by: his wife Judy Jones; his children, Rebecca Stout-Fowler (Patrick) and Andrew Stout (Stevie); his grandchildren, Maeve, Hugh, Bernard Fowler and Eliza Stout; and his siblings, Rita Bordeau and Eric Stout.
