She was predeceased by: her husband Charles "Red" Shears; and her grandson Kyle Rothgeb. She is survived by: her sons, John Rothgeb (Mandy Yager), Randy Rothgeb (Connie) and Joshua Shears (Brittany); her grandchildren, Ashlee Mathews (Rick), Brandi Beeman (Jack), Amber Rothgeb, Kelly Rothgeb and Bennett Shears; and her daughter-in-law Debra Myers.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 5th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, November 6th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service will be held on Friday, November 6th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Messiah Lutheran Church (520 Butler St, Clio, MI 48420).
