He was predeceased by: his parents, William Joseph and Marie Harriet Miesowitz (Olchanowska); and his siblings, William R. Miesowitz and Natalie M. Melick. He is survived by: his wife Carol "Chip" Peterson; and his children, James A. Miles (Patty) and Linda S. Miles (David Motson). He is also survived by six grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
