Richard Szabo Obituary

We announce the death of Richard Szabo of Clio, Michigan, who passed away on July 9, 2026, at the age of 86. Richard will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Szabo and Florence Szabo; his brother Donald Szabo (Lucy); and his granddaughter Maria Schriner. He is survived by: his wife Jean Szabo; his daughters, Ann Kaczmarczyk Jr. (Jerry), Bethany Bennett (David) and Cheryl Schlattman (Paul); his grandchildren, Rachel, Jerry, Jared, David, Matthew, Anna, Megan and Bethany; and his brother Joseph Szabo (Beverly). He is also survived by 6 great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
