He was predeceased by: his parents, Edwin Ferris and Thelma Ferris (Stafford); his wife Wanda Cavness; and his siblings, Barbara Osmun, Jean Cope and Phil Ferris.
He is survived by: his children, Ron Jr., Vicki (Doug Stone) and Keith (Nicci Ferris); his grandchildren, Ronald III (Ashley Ferris), Jason (Caroline Ferris), Justin Williams, James (Jessica Reda), Douglas Stone Jr., Alicia Ferris, Kirsten Ferris and Tyler Ferris; his great grandchildren, Dakota, Abby, Zachary, Zoey, Haven, Cooper Donna and Eli; and his brothers, James (Sharon Ferris) and Paul (Erma Ferris). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
