He was predeceased by: his parents, Frederick Hughey and Fayetta Hughey (Savage); his brother James Hughey; and his grandparents, Darcy and Pansy Savage.
He is survived by: his siblings, Alan Hughey, Duane Hughey (Jean), Richard Hughey (Bonnie), Bruce Hughey, Keith Hughey (Joyce) and Karen Brown. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
