He was predeceased by: his father Walter Hoover; and his siblings, Walter Hoover, Herbert Hoover, Elliot Hoover, Donald Hoover, Kathy Thompson, Jay Edgar Hoover, Edith Marsh, Lionel Hoover, Marlyne Gatica, Leo Frank Hoover and Mildred Hoover.
He is survived by: his wife Carol Hoover; his children, Terry Hoover (Janice) and Suzy Adkins (David); his grandchildren, Daniel Hoover (Bethany), Brianna Penrod (Jefferey), Zachary Adkins and Rebecca Adkins; his stepgranddaughter Kay Vandemeer (Ron); his great grandchildren, Brody, Cameron, Lucas, Isabella, Dominic and Russell; his stepgreat-grandchild Jordan; and his sisters, Nina Burkhardt and Charlotte Finkbiner. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
