It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Thelma LaNell Chappell of Clio, Michigan, who passed away on January 20, 2024, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Troy A. Prewitt and Thelma L. Prewitt; her husband Kenneth Ray Chappell; and her son Val. She is survived by: her daughter LaRae Wing (Michael) of Lennon; her daughter-in-law Tina Chappell of Gainesville, Virginia; her grandchildren, Jason Wing (Rachel) of Dayton, Ohio, Phillip Wing (Amber) of Miamisburg, Ohio, Kendon Chappell (Lauren) of Warrenton, Virginia, Blake Chappell (Jocelyn) of Muskegon, Michigan, Paige Kettell (Spencer) of Yalaha, Florida and Clayton Chappell of Gainesville, Virginia; her great grandchildren, Reagan, Gideon, Jonathan and Liberty Wing; her grandchildren, Gibson, Maya, Silas, Elli, Walker Wing, Audrey, Moira Chappell, William and Evangeline Kettell; and her brother Gerald Prewitt (Gail) of Italy, Texas.. She is also survived by several brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews and many other family members.
