We are sad to announce that, on October 21, 2025, at the age of 57, Troy C. Skinner of Clio, Michigan passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the sacred silence of farewell, Troy is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. And as his memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Troy's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, James D Skinner and Gloria D Franklin; his sons, Tristan and Storm; his significant other Hannah; and his significant other's child Winter. He was also cherished by his family, friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to a cancer research organization or a local wildlife conservation group in Troy's honor — a tribute to both his courageous journey and his deep love for nature.
