He was predeceased by: his father Howard Ely. He is survived by: his mother Pauline Ely (Caskey) of Coldwater; his daughters, Victoria McClure of Birch Run and Adelia Ely of Jackson; and his siblings, Danny Ely of Coldwater and Kathy Crandall (Gary) of Bronson.
