He was predeceased by: his parents, Herschall Hughes and Helen Hughes (Gregg); and his siblings, Hugh Hughes, Henrietta Hughes-Hitchcock, Elizabeth Fairfield and Mary Jane Hughes.
He is survived by: his daughter Anna Frantom (Steve) of Coldwater; his grandchildren, Jordan Agar (Jayley), Elaina Agar, Rebecca Frantom and Brennan Merriman; his great grandchild Anna Agar; and his former wife Cheryl Hughes. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
