He was predeceased by: his parents, George M. Thompson Sr. and Ruth L. Thompson (Roberts); his wife Gladys Thompson; and his pet Abby. He is survived by: his children, Ralph Thompson (Marsha) of Coldwater, Michael Thompson of Coldwater, Shelly Monks (Paul) of Coldwater and Dr. Amy Thompson (Beth Sander) of Clarkston, MI; his grandchildren, Stacy Ward (Dan), Jamie Clinard (Trey), Kelly Thompson, Paul Monks III, Samuel Monks, Linzy Monks, Sam Sander, Jillian Sander and Jacob Sander (Aimee); his great grandchildren, Emmalynn, Kelsie, Jenna, Kenlee, Katie and Sarah; and his pet Sunny. He is also survived by his several Great Great Grandchildren.
Memorials may be directed to the Animal Aid of Branch County and/or the Branch County VA.
