He is survived by: his wife Kathleen Froberg (Boyak); his daughter Susan Phillips (Jon) of Siesta Key, FL; his stepdaughters, Stacie Hillier (Gregory Zabonick) of Coldwater, MI and Stephanie Pierson (Rory) of Munising, MI; his grandchildren, Will Phillips, Sam Phillips of Chicago, IL, Alley Smith (Brock) of Marquette, MI, Abbie Hillier of Harrison Township, MI, Jessie Snow (Andrew) of Atlanta and Carl Pierson of Munising, MI; his great grandchild Winter Snow of Atlanta, GA.; and his siblings, Vincent Hatke of Lafayette and Theresa Haan of Valparaiso, IN. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
