She was predeceased by: her parents, Karl Miesen and Eulalia Miesen (Greer); her grandson Eric; her siblings, Ann Matthews (Wayne), Richard Miesen (Noreen) and James Miesen; and her brother-in-law Daniel Schooley.
She is survived by: her children, David VanderHaag, Jeffrey VanderHaag (Sherry) and Tina Blake (Chad); her grandchildren, Devon, Dion, Dominique, Cloyd, Kristal, Misty, Gaige, Katelyn, Julianna, Ethan, Jordyn, Taylor and Chad II; her siblings, Judith Schooley and Donald Miesen (Jan); and her sister-in-law Barbara Miesen. She is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, December 15th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the VanHorn-Eagle Funeral Home (40 S Manning St, Hillsdale, MI 49242). A funeral service will be held on Monday, December 15th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
