We are sad to announce that on August 2, 2022, at the age of 85, James Brown (Coldwater, Michigan), born in Alma, Michigan passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Charles Brown and Adelaide Brown (Rolixman); his wife Ruth Brown (Kinkema); his daughter Elizabeth Brown (Liz); and his siblings, Rosaline Mercado, Glennie Haase, Stuart, Ralph, William and Jerry Brown.

He is survived by : his sisters, Wanda Shifferd, Charlotte Jenkins (Gerald) and Martha Mezidi (Mamar); his nephew Ezra; his brother Paul Brown (Tossy); his nephews, Silas, Henry and Calvin; his niece Colleen Burnet (Tom); and his daughters, Claire and Lydia.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The First Presbyterian Church of Coldwater in memory of Jim Brown.
