He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Zabonick and Mary Zabonick (Teall); his brother William Zabonick; and his pet Jake. He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Sue Jones; his sons, Douglas Zabonick (Kathy) of Westfield, IN and Gregory Zabonick (Stacie Hillier) of Macomb; his brother Jerry Zabonick (Janet) of Coldwater; his grandchildren, Bryan Zabonick (Eric), Tyler Zabonick (Samantha), Amanda Pollak (Joe), Zakary Zabonick and Mitchell Zabonick; and his great grandchildren, Aubrey, Bailey, Grayson, Jack and Kinsley.

Memorials may be directed to the Coldwater First Baptist Church.
