We are sad to announce that on December 11, 2023, at the age of 80, John Arthur Downey of Coldwater, Michigan passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Emmett Downey and Priscilla Downey (Haynes); and his brother Richard Downey. He is survived by : his wife Dena Downey; his children, Vicki Bassage and John Downey Jr.; his sister Elaine Joyce Otis; and his sister-in-law Jean Downey. He is also survived by his 3 grandsons; 6 great grandchildren and his many loving nieces and nephews.
