He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Gerald and Lorean Downs (Graham); his wife Judith Downs; and his brother Dennis Downs. He is survived by: his children, Seth Downs of Coldwater, Amy Garcia (William) of Grand Ledge, Justin Downs of Coldwater, Aaron Downs (Monica) of Coldwater and Erika Downs of Syracuse, NY; and his grandchildren, Nathan Garcia (Gayle), Loren Dutton (Joshua), Brandon Downs, Nicholas Downs, Austin Downs, Bo Quimby (Kim), Wyatt Quimby, Byron Klingaman and Rich Field (Ashley). He is also survived by 9 great grandchildren.
