It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lucille A. Sheppard of Coldwater, Michigan, who passed away on May 22, 2026, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Donald "Don" Sheppard; her parents, Bill Coats and Betty Coats (Hedrick); her sister Klaudia Fisher; and her close friend Darlyn Rohloff.
She is survived by: her children, Kevin Sheppard (Michelle) of Coldwater and Donna Galliers (Ken Clayman) of Coldwater; her siblings, Deborah Coats Versau, William Coats, Jr. and Bob Coats (Mandy Hubbard); her grandchildren, Ben Galliers (Kadence Strang), Nicklaus Galliers, Clarissa Winter (Oliver) and Kyle Sheppard; her great grandchild Malcolm Galliers; and her nieces and nephews, Toni Sheppard, Amanda Redebaugh, Christopher Fisher (Elizabeth), Corey Fisher (Cheryl), William Coats (Jennifer), Brent Coats and Sarah Lawrence (Ryan).
Memorials may be directed to First Baptist Church or the Union City Tornado Relief Fund (checks made payable to Branch County United Way).
