With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Myrtle L. Slusher of Coldwater, Michigan, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. She was predeceased by: her parents, Edwin Yockey and Leona Yockey; her son Gary Lee Eggleston; her husbands, Max Eggleston and Donald Slusher; her granddaughter Jessica Marie Tripp; her great grandchild Gabby Tripp; and her siblings, Don, Richard "Dick" (Dwayne Yockey), Dorothy Warner and Rita Hantz (Doretha Johnson).
She is survived by: her daughters, Sherry Gaff (Craig), Linda Fick and Penny Tappenden (Patrick); her stepchildren, Susan Pierce (Chris), Cindy Smith and Clinton Slusher; her grandchildren, Joshua, Elisabeth Eggleston, Trisha Tappenden, Marcus Fick, Nolan Tappenden (Taylor) and Audrey Tappenden; and her great grandchildren, Logan, Ayla, Finnly, Lane Eggleston, Dakota Tappenden, Kaylin Eicher and Asher Will. She is also survived by many step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 19th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Union Church (8 Fulton St, Quincy, MI 49082). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, May 19th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Union Church of Quincy (8 Fulton St, Quincy, MI 49082).
