Rosalee May Nivison Obituary

We announce the death of Rosalee May Nivison of Coldwater, Michigan, who passed away on October 4, 2026, at the age of 82. Rosalee will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Liston Peterson and Ruth Peterson (Kiser); her husband Ronald Nivison; her daughter Deanna Shortridge; her brother Rick Peterson; and her sister-in-law Sue Peterson.

She is survived by: her daughters, Trina Matchette (Ron) of Coldwater and Christina Lauzon (Craig) of Florida; her grandchildren, Sara Sattler, Kyle Sattler (Michelle), Justin Delles, Shane Matchette (Karington), Hailey Walker (Robert) and Morgan Matchette; her brother Ronnie Peterson; her son-in-law Brian Shortridge; and her close friend Pam Morrison (Jack). She is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Lakeview Cemetery - Quincy Elmer.
